Difficult mobile phone for help, National Taitung University enable the hydrogen fuel emergency backup power system.

In order to meet the emergency communication needs of the people for help and the disaster notification, the National Communications Commission (NCC), the National Taitung University and the Taiwan Economic Research Institute cooperated to invite Toplus Energy to establish a "Disaster prevention and co-construction long term backup power for telecom base station" at Taitung University. The station supply with fuel cell power system and held an opening ceremony on 2018/04/27, providing people in Taitung when the mobile communication system is unable due to power system damage. It still can make a successful call and ask for help or report to the family in an emergency.

National Taiwan Ocean University use clean energy to build disaster prevention backup power for telecom base station

National Taiwan Ocean University enable "Disaster prevention and co-construction long term backup power for telecom base station" on 2018/03/19. In the event of power failure, Toplus Energy’s fuel cell backup power system can urgently supply telecom base station for more than three days (74 hours) to ensure normal communication during disasters.

Different from the diesel generators used in backup power system in the past, it is easy to cause air pollution. Hydrogen fuel cells only produce current and water, and almost no pollution.

It is the most promising new energy and can be widely used in industrial backup power, uninterruptible equipment, backup power of communication equipment, backup power in remote areas, home thermoelectric symbiosis system, vehicle power, railway and MRT. It significantly improves environmental pollution.

Shuangxi Activity Center use clean energy to build disaster prevention backup power for telecom base station

Shuangxi District of New Taipei City is located in a mountainous environment. In the past, natural disasters such as strong typhoon often faced power system damage. In order to strengthen the emergency power and disaster intensity of the local mobile communication base station, the Shuangxi District Office applied for subsidies to set up fuel cells as emergency backup power system. Toplus Energy fuel cell backup power system can provide at least 74 hours of power supply in case of emergency, and can be used and maintained in the future during emergency disaster relief. The Taiwan Economic and Technological Commission held a hydrogen fuel cell backup power activation ceremony at the Shuangxi District Citizens Activity Center in New Taipei City on 2017/10/26. The NCC, the New Taipei City Government Economic Development Bureau, the Environmental Protection Bureau, the Shuangxi District Office and other industry executives participated in the event.

National Sun Yat-Sen University use clean energy to build disaster prevention backup power for telecom base station

National Sun Yat-Sen University enable "Disaster prevention and co-construction long term backup power for telecom base station" on 2017/02/03. The backup power system can supply power to the base station for 46 hours in the event of a disaster in Sanxing Village and Fengshou Village, Minxiong Township, Chiayi County. Effectively improve the efficiency of disaster prevention and response, and lengthen the time to get in touch with the outside world. National Sun Yat-Sen University is close to the Meishan fault zone, it’s easy to break the communication. In order to strengthen the regional communication service, professors Zhong Yongning and Chen Yongsong from the Department of Mechanical Engineering provide suggestions and assistance for their research expertise in fuel cell. In August 2016, they passed the NCC subsidy program. In the top floor of the campus auditorium, the "Disaster prevention and co-construction long term backup power for telecom base station" Toplus Energy's fuel cell backup power system will extend the communication time of the disaster.
