Company Profile

 

Toplus Energy was founded in 2008. Our core members comes from ITRI’s fuel cell team and dedicate to fuel cell R&D and production. Toplus Energy insist on designing and manufacturing our own fuel cell stack since establishment. With this, we master the key technologies and provide localized products with high customization and high stability. 

We participated in the Energy Bureau demonstration operation plan during 2009-2014. In this period, Toplus Energy invested a large amount of resources to verify and establish the technical feasibility and stability of the fuel cell as a backup power for telecom base station.

Based on the fuel cell technology, Toplus developed the Electrical-Chemical Hydrogen Purify & Recycling System (EC-HPR). It can separate and recycle H2 from N2 and Ar under normal ambient pressure. This technology not only complies with the target of ecological sustainability, but also help customers to significantly cut the expense.

Since Toplus Energy has the largest number of domestic manufacturers in this field, it has received the attention of the National Communications Commission (NCC). After the NCC field visit, the fuel cell was listed as a backup power procurement project for the high-resistance communication platform.

Toplus Energy has solid self-owned technology and will expand the application of fuel cells on this basis. Provide customers with a full range of technical services.

  • We also won the first bidding for the fuel cell backup power purchase case of the telecom base station in Taiwan's, which opened the first case of Taiwan's fuel cell industrialization. Since then, Toplus Energy has successively won the bidding for the telecom base station backup power procurement cases, which has become the highest market share of Taiwan's fuel cell backup power market.
  • In 2018, Toplus Energy expanded product application from the telecom industry to the railway transportation field, and won the bidding for the backup power of the Fangye Railway Station. It’s also the first case of business transfer in Taiwan in the railway transportation industry.
  • In addition to backup power, Toplus Energy also has unique technology and application performance in the recycling of industrial by-product hydrogen, as the basis for future industrial applications.
  • Our first large capacity Electrical-Chemical Hydrogen Purify and Recycling System (EC-HPR) is established in Y2020. It's also the first commercial EC-HPR in Asia.
